Job Overview
The Senior Process Engineer is a strategic and technical leadership role designed to support the Senior
Reliability and Continuous Improvement Manager as a 2IC. This role goes beyond traditional process
engineering, requiring a strong team player who can lead initiatives to improve customer site performance
and internal processes. The Senior PE will drive lean transformation efforts, champion continuous
improvement, and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation. They will work closely with crossfunctional
teams and customers, using advanced data analytics and problem-solving methodologies to deliver
measurable results. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a
passion for developing others and driving operational excellence.
Responsibilities
· Act as 2IC to the Senior Reliability and Continuous Improvement Manager, supporting strategic
initiatives and team leadership.

· Foster a collaborative team culture, mentoring engineers and promoting knowledge sharing and
innovation.
· Drive RMR (Revisions, Modifications, Retrofits) projects from concept to completion, ensuring
alignment with customer needs and business goals.
· Represent the team in customer meetings and presentations, translating technical insights into
actionable strategies.
· Collaborate with service teams to embed lean principles and support the transformation journey.
· Communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation, ensuring transparency and alignment
on performance and improvement actions.
Qualifications & Skills
· Education: bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a related field.
· Continuous Improvement: Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement and leading
lean transformation initiatives
· Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with formal training in Lean Six Sigma or equivalent
methodologies.
· Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of mechanical and control systems, particularly in relation to
automated systems.
· Leadership: Proven experience in a leadership or second-in-command role, with a track record of strategic thinking and team development. · Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders. · Data analytics skills: Proficiency in data analytics and visualisation tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) to support decision-making. · Project Management: Experience in managing projects from concept through to completion. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies. · Sales: Experience in customer-facing roles, with the ability to translate customer needs into engineering solutions. · Industry Trends: Commitment to professional development and staying current with industry trends and technologies.
