Do you get energized by working in an international environment that is constantly evolving? Then the Business Analytics role at Chane Terminals is the opportunity for you! You will be working in a fast-paced environment where a lot is happening. The Business Analytics department is responsible for delivering insights that are essential for the successful growth of Chane Terminals.

Representative activities

In this role, you will actively contribute to the future-proof and scalable setup and use of Chane's analytics platform (MS Azure / Power BI). The data from this platform is used to deliver business-critical insights.

Your responsibilities include:

• Creating insights for a wide variety of users within Chane. You will consult with users and align with your colleagues. We work according to the agile methodology and use Power BI / the Microsoft Fabric suite.
• Maintaining existing reports (together with your team, where one colleague serves as "data sergeant" each week, managing incoming requests).
• Connecting and integrating new data sources.
• Overseeing and further developing user rights and access.

Requerements

You are energetic, independent, and equipped with strong knowledge and skills. You are curious and investigative: you only accept a "no" after exploring it yourself, and you are not afraid to give a well-founded "no" when needed.

You can distinguish between main and side issues and think in scalable solutions. You will report to the IT Business Analytics Manager.

Your profile:

• Relevant education
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience with Power BI or other data visualization and reporting tools
• Some knowledge of cloud computing
• Experience analyzing combined data from multiple sources
• Understanding of data access and user roles
