Are you a technician with all-round experience? Do you have a background in maintenance or repairs of hoists and lifting installations? Then we have the perfect job for you! We're looking for a hoist technician/ mechanic to join the technical service department at DAF.

You'll ensure that all hoists and lifting installations are in perfect condition. Safety, quality, and reliability are of utmost importance. Working with your team, you'll ensure that production never stops.

This is a full-time position in a 3-shift system, and you'll receive a direct contract with DAF!

Important to know: you must be able to understand and comprehend the Dutch language well, and it would be nice if you could also speak it.

We are looking for a mechanic with the following qualifications:

• You have a vocational MBO 4 diploma in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering
• You have experience with the maintenance and repair of hoists and lifting installations
• You are flexible and open to working in a 3-shift system. Working occasionally on weekends is not a problem for you
• You must be able to understand and comprehend the Dutch language well, and it would be nice if you could also speak it a little

As a hoist technician/ mechanic, you're the go-to person for hoist maintenance. You'll inspect them, certify them, and ensure everything is in working order. Whether it's a mechanical issue or an electronic malfunction, you'll solve it.

• Maintenance and repair: You'll ensure hoists run smoothly and resolve any malfunctions
• Assembly and adjustment: You'll disassemble, reassemble, and make minor adjustments to parts as needed
• Consulting: You'll contribute ideas for improvements and advise engineers on revisions and new installations
• Administration: You'll document your work in the system (SAP) so your colleagues are always up-to-date
• Proactive thinking: You'll propose ideas to make machinery even more reliable and reduce costs

You'll work in the maintenance department. Together with a team of other technicians, you'll ensure the factory can continue to produce safely, efficiently, and without interruptions!
