I connected my iPhone 5 within a minute and was dragging and dropping files between an SDHC card and a USB memory stick without any problems. I bought this thing to backup my photo's during a holiday hiking in the Nepalese Himelayas. This way I do not have to lurk around my iPad3 and still am able to backup my compact and SLR camera including our snapshots from the smartphones my wife and I carry. Great to have all photo's backed up when an item gets lost, stolen or broken.

Making the internet bridge connection was easy, although I had to try to enter my password several times; the entry window popped away quite often before I could tap OK. Initialy the internet bridge functionality did not work but a reboot of the MediaShare solved that. Perhaps the iDevices needed to be made aware that the connection now could be requested internet IPs too.

I just tested to play a .mp4 movie on the iPad from the USB storage and on the iPhone from the SD card, simultaneously. No problem at all!

The iOS App kindly warns you when you try to copy a file with the same name to the same folder, but you can only skip files one by one by tapping Skip (or Replace). This makes an incremental backup rather timeconsuming. Probably I will prefer to create a new copy to a new folder each time that I backup my SD card. (The Hyperdrive iUSBport wins here, but costs 89 instead of 49 euro and requires a seperate USB hub and SD card reader on top)

Only extra I am hoping for is a firmware upgrade that will allow for a USB hub to be connected, so I can hook up more devices.
