Sales & Business Developer Government Services and International Trade (M/F) Fulltime

Job description

You will contribute to the success of TÜV Rheinland by managing regional relationships with our clients. You will be responsible for business development in the Netherlands for Government Inspections and International Trade. Your tasks include identifying and implementing individual action plans as well as their monitoring in order to ensure a sales-oriented approach.

Your (key) sales focus will be market access services, government services and international approvals, like pre-import inspections, testing and certification of goods for countries as Uganda, Egypt, Iraq and Saudi Arabia (and others).

Your main tasks:

• Implementing TÜV Rheinland's strategy

• Approaching potential and new clients and maintaining good relationships with existing client

• Maintaining, updating and expanding the client base by using the associated databases

• Developing and analyzing strategies and methods for the existing market or for launching new services

• Attending international trade fairs in the context of business

• Handling the comprehensive support of customers/clients (with regard to contract- related negotiations) nationally and internationally

You are a driving force for new business, you map out new markets and draw up and implement market approach plans. You also maintain a professional network with strategic accounts, stakeholders, (co-)decision-makers and other relevant market parties.

In the team you will work closely with an International team of inspectors and the International Sales team of the Business Field. In this function you report to the Regional Business Field manager Western Europe.

The development to the position of Local Business Field Manager Nederland is certainly one of the possibilities.

Requirements

For this position we are looking for someone with a technical or commercial education at Bachelor level, for example HTO or HEAO CE.

Experience in global sales, government services business development, international approvals, market access services.

Proven track record in international business and ability to recognize

You have a proven affinity with business development and with drawing up and developing sales plans. You have a commercial feeling and drive to achieve results.

Profile

You are enterprising, commercial, decisive, driving, driven, driven to score, decisive, analytical and daring to show initiative. You can work as a team or independently and are eager to learn, flexible and customer-oriented. Because of the company's international focus, you will be able to master not only Dutch but also English in words and in writing (German is an advantage).
