As an Operations Engineer you will act as a point of contact for both internal and external customers. You are responsible for maintaining service availability by managing incidents reported by customers. You will further monitor the production environment and systems while getting the specialized departments involved when needed.
You will further have a shared responsibility regarding incident management, and you are required to provide the communication towards the business. The role requires you to be part of an on call-rota. You will be responsible for ensuring that all reported incidents/service requests are managed to closure, participate in the software quality checks as part of release management and coordinate the resolution of problem tickets as part of problem management.
You will have 2 to 3 areas of expertise such as finance, or a specific service support area like the in-car dashboard app, and you will be the point of contact within our team. You will have an advising role towards the stakeholders and your own department.
