"experience working in international NGO and learn more about quality education in an innovative way"
4-5 days a week, February - June 2020
Are you a student and looking for an interesting internship in the field of animation and innovative education? Then we have an inspiring opportunity for you at War Child's Can't Wait to Learn programme! Can't Wait to Learn is an innovative educational programme that uses a game on a tablet to provide quality education to children in conflict areas who otherwise have no access to education. We are currently active in Lebanon, Jordan, Sudan, Uganda and Chad.
We are looking for an animation intern to help us in simplifying educational concepts for math and reading subjects via animation. We use videos in our games explaining educational Math and Reading concepts and seek to improve/innovate this by the use of animation. By this we achieve 2 goals: clarify a concept and make it more sustainable through re-use in other countries with only an audio switch. In addition, there is the option to investigate how we can use animation to enrich the game story at some points with animation.
The intern is part of the Can't Wait to Learn department and reports to the Design Lead.
