Google heeft een update voor versie 24 van zijn webbrowser Chrome uitgebracht. Google Chrome is beschikbaar in drie verschillende uitvoeringen: stable, beta en dev, en ditmaal is de stabiele uitvoering bijgewerkt. Nieuw in versie 24 is onder meer ondersteuning voor MathML, waarmee wiskundige notatie kan worden weergegeven. Verder zijn er verbeteringen waar te nemen in stabiliteit en snelheid, zijn er weer de nodige beveiligingsupdates aangebracht en bevat deze versie een nieuwere versie van de Flash-player. Deze update bevat verder de volgende veranderingen en verbeteringen:

Stable Channel Update

The Stable channel has been updated to 24.0.1312.56 for Windows, Mac, Linux, and Chrome Frame platforms. This build contains the following fixes:

• Fixed performance of mouse wheel scrolling. [Issue: 160122]
• Fixed visited links regression. [Issue: 160025]
• Fixed windows installation when installed as admin. [Issue: 166473]
