De 3.3-ontwikkeltak van de bittorrent-client µTorrent heeft eerder deze maand de bètastatus bereikt en inmiddels is er ook alweer een opvolger verschenen. In versie 3.3 is onder meer het input/output-gedeelte geheel herschreven, waardoor het beter presteert en niet meer mogelijk is dat een taak de rest van de computer kan vertragen. Hieronder zijn de changelogs van de afgelopen twee maanden te vinden.

Release highlights:

• Disk I/O system completely rewritten. Now multi-threaded and high performance. It will take advantage of multiple disks, perform better with even just one, and no one disk job can block everything (e.g slow network blocking local I/O, or allocating files)
• Auto-labeling and per-label download directories (Preferences -> Label)
• Search items in Advanced preferences
• Paired device removal
