Er is een update vooor versie 3.0.0 van aTunes verschenen. Met dit in Java geschreven programma kunnen audiobestanden worden afgespeeld en beheerd. Het kan overweg met mp3, ogg, wma, wav, flac, mp4, ra en rm, en is ook in staat om onlineradiostations af te spelen. Verder kan aTunes cd's rippen, tags bewerken en playlists aanmaken, en heeft het een navigator waarmee het eenvoudig is om artiesten, albums of genres op te zoeken.
