Met de huidige hype van Apples iPhone zorgen steeds meer ontwikkelaars ervoor dat hun software beschikbaar komt voor deze telefoon. AOL heeft een iPhone-versie van zijn instant messenger, bekend onder de naam AIM, ontwikkeld. Voor meer informatie verwijzen we jullie door naar deze pagina. Versie 1.2 van AIM for iPhone is sinds kort beschikbaar via Apple's App Store en is voorzien van de volgende veranderingen:
Version 1.2:
Version 1.2 resolves a packaging issue that may have caused some users to have difficulty upgrading from the on-device version of the App Store.
Version 1.1:
- Send an IM or SMS to multiple people at once with AIM Blast. See here how to set up Blast for your iPhone.
- Added the ability to explicitly sign off from the AIM network from the My Info screen
- Notification sound and vibration preferences can be set from the Settings application
- This version also resolves issues some users had reported with crashes and blank IMs, particularly on the iPhone 3G.
