The Shell Asset Management Company (SAMCo) provides investment advice and management services to Shell companies and associated pension funds worldwide. SAMCo's IT department looks after the application and infrastructure portfolio, focussing on application development, business application and infrastructure support, and application management.

As Application Manager, you'll be responsible for managing asset-management applications, translating business needs into technical requirements and solutions. It will be up to you to monitor services and interfaces, analysing the business impact on current configurations, and discussing new functionalities and opportunities with business focal points. You'll also manage patch, hot-fix and upgrade processes, whilst maintaining relationships with vendors and users.

With an HBO (HEAO-BE or HEAO-BI) and proven finance experience, you'll have a good understanding of IT, and knowledge of asset-management processes. Enthusiastic with great interpersonal skills, you'll be ready to interact at all levels of our organisation. You also need to be eligible to work within the EU.
