In our Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), architecture has two meanings. It can be the formal description of a system or the structure, inter-relationships, principles and guidelines governing the design and evolution of components. The scope of both IT and enterprise architecture covers technical, information and business architecture.

As a Data Architect, you'll have a good understanding of application, other elements of the architecture and standard processes based on TOGAF, and it's essential that you possess the skills and knowledge to think creatively while focusing on the bigger picture.

You should have proven experience of data architecture in other environments, as well as a good working knowledge of data analysis, design and modelling. We'll expect you to have the confidence to express your views at a high and detailed level, and be ready to lead a diverse team of professionals. You should also be able to work in a virtual team, as our stakeholders are based in a number of different locations around the world.
