Support Analyst E-distribution

Rabobank International/Wholesale is looking for an Application Support Analyst within IT Systems and Development E-Distribution.

Department

The E-Distribution department within IS&D is responsible for the maintenance of Electronic Distribution applications and for supporting the service lines that make use of these applications. Next to this, E-Distribution develops the electronic distribution proposition in cooperation with the wholesale business area and, as a result, executes projects to bring the requested functionality in production.

Job Description

As application support analyst, you will be active within E-Distribution - Application Support Management (ASM). You will be responsible for the support of the applications that are used by both internal and external clients. Next to the support on the supported applications, you will be the liaison between the hardware, operating system and the network support department.

As second line support you are responsible for maintaining and improving the applications and environment,as well as for solving incidents and problems within the technical support area. In addition, you will be the technical liaison for the service team, development and external software providers.

Job Requirements

Knowledge and required experience

We are looking for someone with at least 1 year of experience in a technical support function (TCP/IP, Firewalls, Communication/Networking) and system programming (Unix AIX5.3, Scripting).

Ample knowledge of and experience with AIX, Solaris and Windows 2000 ,as wel as IBM Websphere Application and Portal Server, is important.

In addition, do you have a good knowledge of Java, Webservers, DB2& Oracle databases, LDAP, Tomcat, Shell tools and scripting and experience in MQ? Then, technically, you're a perfect fit.

Are you a pragmatic and a pro-active teamplayer, who is eager to learn and has hands-on mentality?

Are you client-oriented and flexible in the way you work? Do you have a low stress sensitivity as well, and do you have a working knowledge of both written and spoken English and Dutch? If so, then you are the perfect candidate for the job!
