Speciaal voor RAID-tests werd een benchmark gecreeërd met veel sequentieel schijfverkeer. Een rip van een dvd werd met behulp van IfoEdit vanaf schijf gestripped waarbij de brongegevens en de gestripte film zich op dezelfde schijf bevonden. Dergelijke toegangspatronen komen ook voor bij video-editing applicaties. Door het in hoge mate sequentiële toegangspatroon is deze benchmark erg schaalbaar.

Uitvoering

De test wordt uitgevoerd op een ongeformateerde dynamic disk.

Pre-selecties
Pre-selecties zijn voorgedefinieerde groepen van testresultaten die gebruikt kunnen worden als een grove beperking van de zoekresultaten. Een pre-selectie kan gecombineerd worden met de overige resultaatfilters.
